I've always wanted to excel in algebra clep, it seems like there's a lot that can be done with it that I can't do otherwise. I've browsed the internet for some good learning resources, and checked the local library for some books, but all the data seems to be targeted at people who already know the subject. Is there any resource that can help new people as well?

Yep May God save us students from the wrath of algebra clep. I used to face same problems that you do when I was there. I always used to be confused in Remedial Algebra, Intermediate algebra and Pre Algebra. I was worst in algebra clep until I came to know of Algebrator. It is really useful and I would definitely recommend it. The best part of the software is that it will also help you learn algebra and not just give your answers. I found Algebrator effective and am sure it will help you too. Let me know.

I can vouch for that. Algebrator is the numero Uno piece of software for solving algebra assignments. Been using it for some time now and it keeps on amazing me. Every assignment that I type in, Algebrator gives me a perfect answer to it. I have never enjoyed learning algebra assignment on radical inequalities, linear algebra and exponential equations so much before. I would recommend it for sure.

I remember having problems with adding fractions, slope and y-intercept. Algebrator is a truly great piece of algebra software. I have used it through several math classes - College Algebra, Pre Algebra and Intermediate algebra. I would simply type in the problem and by clicking on Solve, step by step solution would appear. The program is highly recommended.
