Let's use some values

We already know that K is 100 (because its a 100 meter race)

Suppose our racer runs at 0.5 meters per second, so S, our speed is 0.5

Then plug in the values & solve

T = 100/0.5

So T = 200

Meaning it will take the racer 200 seconds to complete the race

Alternatively, suppose the racer runs at 2 meters per second

T = 100/2

So T = 50

Meaning it will take the racer racer 50 seconds to complete the race

Notice how the time taken was shorter?

Course it was!
