v1 = the rate of the car
t1 = 5 hr the time of the car
v2 = 45 kph the rate of the bus
t2 = t1 + 4
t2 = 5 + 4
t2 = 9 hr the time of the bus
Since distance = speed*time and both, the car and the bus, traveled the same distance we have:
v1t1 = v2t2
5v1 = 45*9
